Soccer For The Future
Funded Oct 27, 2018First I want to say thank you very much from every bit of my heart your contributions to this project. We are using the the materials everyday for the students to improve the skills. The children are jumping over hurdles with so much energy. They are using the ladders with soccer ball dribble and for different agility skills. The kick solo trainer are improving the skills of the children with ball control and dribble. The goals we are using them for practice to improve the size of the goals for game days. The parachute are improving their speed.
If you would of seen the children face they never expected this ever their face was in shocked then with praise saying thank you but I told them donors people out their want to help us and they made it possible not me. They were so happy, excited, jumping, and couldn't priceless faces they couldn't believe it. They ran to the box that it came in and started open it and trying it on. They were very grateful due to your contributions and they now believe that they can improve their skills even more to be the best. Players all said, "We look like professional soccer players."
The next steps are to continue to have more equipment to focus more on shooting. To have more equipment for the goalies and players such as soccer nets rebound. That will help the goalies for shots to be blocked and for control of the ball in the air and for shooting as well. Instead of having children as a wall for shooting they will have plastic wall for the shooting. We would love a camera to record the games and practice. In that way we can improve our position skills and see other teams techniques in the games and practice to watch, improve, and have fun. We do not have a storage and we need one because all our our players help to take the equipment from the second floor to the fifth floor gym or to outside in the school yard. Due to your contributions more families and children have been interested in joining soccer.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Recinos
