CCSD is not providing these filters that are proven to kill COVID. I have a large classroom and will place one by the door and the other across the room to provide a safe environment for my students. With over 3000 students walking the halls 7 times per day, I would like students to feel comfortable and safe so they can focus on their learning since they take high stakes IB exams in May that can earn them college credit and save them money since they are coming from lower socioeconomic homes. The filters and replacement filters will last me the next 2 years. The pens are for grading student work that doesn't bleed through or rip their work. The highlighters are to place in student workboxes at each learning station so students can highlight and color-code their notes. The KN95 masks are for students to use. The staples are for students to use in the staplers.
