The products that I have chosen will help my students practice spelling and retaining art vocabulary in a fun and challenging way. We will use the magnetic letters to engage in friendly spelling and vocabulary battle challenges in the art room.
As an art teacher, I take pride in finding fun and engaging ways to introduce art vocabulary to my students. We all know that there is nothing better than a bit of healthy competition. The best part is that students learn while they are competing. Students also learn that art vocabulary is just as important and relevant as pure art making. They can take this new found art vocabulary and use it cross-curricular.
Another advantage of using the magnetic letters is that we will be saving many trees by reducing our paper usage. These magnetic letters will not only serve my 350 students in this school year, they will serve many more for years to come.
