Positive Incentives, Positive Inspiration
Funded Oct 27, 2021I want to take the time to thank you again for donating to our classroom. Your donations helped bring new materials to our classroom to aid in our school wide positive incentive plan. The students were beyond excited when we opened the packages together. They worked harder than ever to earn stickers and fill their charts so that they could go to the prize box and pick a reward. The students were also extra excited about the new toys to use during our social/emotional block. The magnatiles and trainset are definitely a class favorite. I love seeing the students practicing their problem solving and social skills while doing activities they love.”

You Can't Spell Smart Without Art!
Funded Oct 27, 2018I would like to thank you again for your generous donations to our classroom. Each and every material purchase will be used to further the children's love of learning. Knowing that people they don't even know were wiling to help them get new materials for their classroom made them feel so cared for. The look of excitement on their faces when the packages arrived was priceless. They were so eager to see it all.
We have been able to complete many crafts and project with our new resources. The children enjoyed making ornaments for their families at Christmas. Using the finger paint is their favorite and it is a great calming sensory activity. Now that our bulletin board in the hallway is so bright and exciting, the students can't wait to have their work displayed up there. They are always working hard on their next project.
You have helped motivate my students by connecting their love of art to their love of learning.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Hurte
