It helped the students learn to love reading a little bit more. They enjoyed the bright colors and fun themes scholastic news showcased.

    Students were excited to see the brightly colored magazines on their desk each Monday morning. I was excited to see them read for enjoyment while also learning.

    I hope that the students loved of reading was increased by this generous donation.”

  • Run With the Sun: Using Solar Power to Race Cars.

    My students were so excited to get started on their solar powered cars! They have really loved learning about renewable energy, and building solar cars really put their learning into practice. It provided my students with the opportunity to learn in different ways and develop fine motor skills. It helped us learn how to collaborate, use critical thinking skills, communicate with others, and get creative! Students loved racing their cars against other students.

  • Let's Go Lego!

    My students were so excited to see the lego packages arrive at school. They wanted to get started right then and there! This experience helped our class grow! It provided my students with the opportunity to learn in different ways and develop fine motor skills. It helped us learn how to collaborate, use critical thinking skills, communicate with others, and get creative! Giving students a head start on STEM by using Legos is important to their future success. With these new Legos, my students will be engaged in learning, thinking critically, analyzing data, and finding hands-on solutions for difficult problems that have real-world relevance. These Lego sets will help students learn the essential of STEM and 21st century skills needed to become the innovative minds of tomorrow... while having fun!
