  • iPads for Future Leaders!

    We appreciate all the help! We wouldn't have been able to do this without your generosity! My students and I were thrilled about receiving these iPads because we are now able to integrate technology into or reading lessons. We use the iPad for activities such as research, and A to Z, a reading program.

    With these iPads students are able to work in two or three group to research and read online. This is a great way to help expand their knowledge. Reading everyday helps the students fluency. Since they use iPads the students are more excited to read off of the iPad versus a worksheet.

    During our centers Te students are able to use the iPads for a reading program. They are able to pick and read a book on this program. A to Z reads to the students and has comprehension questions at the end of the book. Majority of the students always look forward to using this reading program on the iPad!

My students are diverse and come from different backgrounds. This year I will be teaching 5th grade ELA. I will be teaching new comers which I'm extremely excited about! It is my goal to create a safe and learning environment to make each child feel successful. I can't wait for this school year to get started and I wouldn't be able to do it without your help!
