The kids were beyond excited upon receiving your donations. The kids are over the moon everyday when it is time for P.E. They really enjoy the super sized kickball game and wish they could take it out during recess as well. I have seen them become more responsible and they take charge to keep our equipment from getting lost or ruined. If a ball goes over the fence they immediately tell someone so that it can be retrieved.
This has been an amazing blessing to our first graders and I know they truly cherish the fact that someone thought it was important enough to help them receive equipment so they could partake in these activities during P.E. As a teacher, I am blessed to have someone care enough about our students in the same way that I do, that they were willing to donate and make a huge impact on my students lives.
Thank you for believing in my students and me. You are a true mentor and we hope that we can help others the way that you have helped us! You have impacted our daily lives at school and have continued to make the students excited and full of smiles because of your generosity.”
Our first graders are more than eager to being experiencing P.E. and all the fun that we can have as a class and grade level. On the first day of school, many students did not know what P.E. was. Upon explanation they began to get really excited. We need playground balls to work on four square and handball, soccer balls to play soccer, and kickball balls to enjoy many games of kickball.
The daily question now is, "When are we going to do P.E.?" With the help from receiving this equipment we can help capture that excitement and help our students live an active lifestyle while having fun with their peers and our classroom family. Here's to active and happy first graders!
