The students in my class all have severe and profound mental and physical disabilities. They are not able to write, draw, paint, or even speak independently. The adults in my classroom helped the students to create these tank you cards and pictures. I tried to choose art projects that the students could complete with minimal assistance, such as sponge painting, dots, and hand prints. We also took some pictures of the students working in the class. Your donation has ensured that the students in my class can take an active part in the reading process. With hands on manipulatives and colorful story books, reading can be very fun and exciting for all. Though they cannot express their thanks in words, know that the smiles on their faces say all the thanks in the world.”

    Your donation has ensured that the students in my class can experience simple play activities. They have truly enjoyed the balls with bells in them. They can hear the balls coming and they seem to make their own "music." They also love the scooter and going for rides on the playground and through the school.
