The main component of this project is the sand and water table. We do not currently have a means for the students to work with and explore water and sand. The water and sand table will be free standing and is just the right size to fit into the available space in the classroom. With the table allowing for both sand and water simultaneously, two students will be able to play at the same time. The sensory tubs will allow us to expand the options for the students during our work time at the table and provide opportunities for students to further meet their sensory needs.
