The color paper, color pencils, scissors, and glue are to create interactive math journals. Each time a new lesson or unit is taught, the students will create something different in their journal each time. This will allow the students to keep record and track of all the new material they have learned. Interactive math journals help the students keep the main vocabulary, formulas, and more all in one place. When teaching a lesson the main goal is to keep all students actively engaged in the lesson. The whiteboard set is a wonderful way to allow the students to do so. Students can work out problems during lesson on the whiteboards instead of on paper. Allowing the use of whiteboards excites the students as they get to work with materials besides pencil and paper. When asking for answers, the students can hold the board in the air with their response so I can monitor to make sure the students are understanding the material. The remaining supplies; pens, pencils, erasers, index cards, etc. is to have stocked in the classroom for the students. This way I will keep the necessities needed for the students in my classroom at all times for their benefit.
