Printing Power
Funded Sep 20, 2023Thank you all so much for your generous donations! With your help my students are able to have immediate access to various worksheets, graphic organizers, printable materials, etc. They are even able to have their projects printed to hang on the bulletin boards.
This printer has been so valuable in the short time that we have had it. It hasn't only benefited the students but us teachers as well. We are able to make copies of materials we already have to meet our growing population. Once again I thank you for your generosity and the impact it has made on our classroom.”

Exploring Our Creative Side
Funded Feb 1, 2023My students have been utilizing the resources every week during their lunch period to create beautiful pieces of art. They are so excited to come to Arts & Crafts Club because they are eager to explore all the different types of art materials. They have created countless lanyard keychains, bracelets, pictures, cards, origami, and more. Students have even asked to come up during non-club days just to partake in Arts & Crafts. Through this we have come to see that we have many artists among us in the 6th grade.
When the students came to club and saw all the materials they were in awe. They couldn't believe all the amazing things they were going to be able to work with. As soon as they got their hands on the materials they began to explore.
This years Arts & Crafts Club was such a success. I cannot wait until the new incoming 6th grader have an opportunity to join this club.”

Funded Sep 7, 2018Thank you for the generous donations you made for my students! The children have been able to use texts on their levels to assist in their learning of comprehension using informational texts. They have been learning how to utilizes text features in order to find information. The fiction books have been able to provide the students with books to use for their reading homework. It helps in supporting their fluency and comprehension as they complete a response question nightly.
Within our reading units they are able to access a variety of books on their levels. The students are able to sit with their reading groups and discuss what they are reading about. Once the students have went through their books they are able to swap books with their fellow group members and become exposed to a new topic.
As a whole, my students have begun to enjoy reading more so than they have in the past. I can't wait to continue to watch them grow and become avid readers.”
