In fourth grade, we ask students to sit for longer periods of time. They sit during mini lessons, group project work, read to self and individual work time. Currently my students only have one choice of seating: their hard plastic chairs. While sitting in a chair all day long might be okay for some students, many others will learn best and feel the most comfortable in a different seating option. By increasing comfort, concentration is increased which leads to more productivity and happiness in our classroom. I have a very limited budget and am not able to purchase these items on my own. Having these flexible seating options will make a huge difference for my students and their success. Thank you for any help you can provide to make this happen for my students!
