Standing desks help improve student's physical health. After a meal, blood sugar levels return to normal faster when a student spends more time standing. Standing, rather than sitting, may reduce the risk of shoulder and back pain. Journaling has a positive impact on physical well-being. Regular journaling strengthens immune cells, and decreases the symptoms of asthma and rheumatoid arthritis. Writing about stressful events helps students come to terms with them, acting as a stress management tool, thus reducing the impact of these stressors on their physical health. I am asking for a bean bag because having a comfy place to read is key for student success!
