I would like a class set of TI calculators (20) for the kids to use. This will enable the students to do more complex problems and engage in the curriculum easier. These calculators will also allow students to solve higher level problems which will allow them to succeed in high school. All students need proper school supplies, and a calculator that can do more complex mathematical problems is a necessity. Most of my students can not affort simple school supplies, so an advanced calculator is way over their budget. Some of my kids are more worried about where they will sleep tonight or if they will eat. I want to be the difference.
