We are asking for different kinds of whiteboards and the accessories because the ones we have that have been used for 12 years are badly stained from frequent use and we go through the markers like crazy. The use of whiteboards are used many times weekly for activities in all academic areas. They are able for me, as the teacher, to connect to my student's understanding on a one-on-one level without splitting into small groups. They increase student participation and response. By donating to our project it will be able to give us a better hands-on experience in our learning. Because we are students with varying disabilities and are all on different academic levels, using these whiteboards will enable me to have quick interactions with my kids and mostly it adds variety and enjoyment in our learning.
