The ADS features a vibrant and energizing music and arts curriculum. However, with the growing struggles in public school funding, having the necessary supplies to run a premium music program is becoming more and more difficult. That is why I am asking for a donation of four Djembe, four floor Toms, and a set of rosewood chimes. With these supplies, I will better support the academic needs of our students in the melodic, rhythmic, and cross-curricular cultural aspects of our program. The music teachers in our school offer their knowledge in West African percussion traditions to our students. With the addition of these music supplies, our students will experience their music lessons on an elevated level. Thank you for considering a contribution to our school!
