• Cabinet For Our Chromebooks

  Thank you for your generous donation toward our cabinet project. We were all excited when the huge box arrived. A parent volunteered to built it and it looks amazing. So much that everyone on campus has come to see the new addition to our classroom

  It has helped so much with the organization of our Tablets and Chromebooks. Its so easy for the the students to access the Tablets and Chromebook with little assistance.

  At night we look them up and we feel secure that nothing will happen to them while we are away. Thank you for helping us to maintain the technology area clean and organized.”

• A Clean Classroom For The Littles

  Thank you for the generous donations. Our class has been difficult to keep clean since we have 27 four and five year olds eating breakfast in the classroom. Since our menu varies some of our breakfast items are messier than others.

  With your donation we were able to clean messes quickly and efficiently. The kids enjoy being the clean up crew. They use the towels, hand-held vacuum and broom daily. The push vacuum has helped keep our floor free of dust. Ans Breakfast in the classroom is running smoothly.

• KIDney Table for the Kids in TK

  Funded Apr 3, 2023

  Thank you so much for your generous donation towards our Kidney table. Our old kidney table had a broken leg. Although we had tried to fix it by adding a building block, it often was kicked and we would end up with a wobbly table. Having such an uneven table made it difficult to work with the student on a daily basis.

  When the new table arrived the students were excited to open it. My assistant and I quickly found a parent volunteer to help us set it up. All the kids want to sit at the new table because its so spacious and we all fix comfortably.

• Hip, Hip, Hooray We Are Learning in TK!

  My Transitional Kindergarten classroom are so thankful for the scissors, beginner pencils, the ergonomic 5 finger pencil grips, the twistable crayons and most important the jumbo pink crayons. Although, some of the items might seem simple these materials make our daily learning so much easier and fun.

  When the Amazon box arrived the students were so excited and curious to see what we had received. As I pulled each item they began to cheer for our new items. They were the most excited for the twistable crayons and the pink crayons.

  The twistable crayons will be added to our writing and science center. They will be great for the students to use during our Butterfly Unit and the new Writing Center we are trying to create. It's always wonderful for them to begin to write and discover that words carry meaning.”

• Dramatic Play Area for TK

  Thank you so much for your generous donations!. As soon as I told my students that are project was fully funded they couldn't wait for the items to arrive. The most awaited item was the couch.

  One of the parents shared how excited his daughter was to come to school t because she knew the couch would be arriving. As soon it came we opened the boxes and I could see the excitement in their faces. The students helped me to set it up the rug, the couch, and the kids cleaning set in the House Area.

  We set up the pretend Farmers Market and the Harvest Game next to our House area. Its set up for the students to garden out side their "house". They have really enjoyed both areas. Our hearts are overjoyed. Thanks you for bringing such joy and unforgettable memories.”

• Hands on Learning Centers for TK Students

  Thank so much for your generous donation. My students and I were so excited to open the Amazon boxes. The trays have helped to keep our Play-doh in a contained area and makes clean-up easier for all of us. The children have used the stampers multiple times and we are learning to write our names with the Play-doh kinesthetically. The crayon caddies have been a lifesavers. Our students are learning to be independent workers and having the caddies have helped with keeping each table organized while also making the children accountable for their work space. Thank you!!!”

• Headphones Help Me Learn

  Thank YOU! Your generous donation has provided my students with comfortable and easy to plug-in earphones for our ipads. We have been provided with ipads for our classroom but the noise of all the devices being used at once can be overwhelming. So many times I had to limit the use of devices to four students at a time. It was frustrating for the students and for myself.

  When the big brown boxed arrived my students could wait to help me open it. As soon as they saw the headphones they started to cheer. I heard one student tell the other now we can all use our ipads. My class currently has three visually impaired students who have benefit the most. They enjoy listening to nursery rhymes and using Starfall an app that allows them to access large print. Thank you again!”

• Ready Set Print!

  Thank you so much for your support to my Transitional Kindergarten classroom. Getting the Epson printer has been so helpful and exciting for my students.

  We have made STEM Challenges for the Science Center, printed mini Art cards for the painting station to help inspire the students when they paint. We have made books for the children to take home and enjoy and read with their families to promote literacy outside of the classroom. But the biggest impact has been for our visual learners. Our visual learners are more engaged and excited about their learning during Center time. The students are using the visuals posted to create and explore. We are laminating and saving the printed cards/posters/books so that future students can also benefit from these colorful materials.

• Creativity, Positivity and Compassion

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to our project. We have started to use our Cricut Maker and all the wonderful accessories that came in the box. Our first project was creating a unique class t-shirt featuring drawings made by each student in our class. The t-shirts will be worn in our upcoming field trip and every Monday to promote school spirit.

  Each child drew a self-portrait which was then transferred into a PNG file (Portable Network Graphic), which was then cut by our Cricut Machine and then ironed on to our t-shirts. This project was something so unique and special for each student. I could see how excited they were to draw their self-portrait. When I ironed on the first t-shirt and displayed it on our whiteboard they looked for their drawing. One little girl said, "I see me, I see me." Having their drawing transformed into a wearable art for all to admire has been the best!!!

  All of this would have not been possible without your donation. Thank you for helping us to create a memorable keepsake for each child.”
