  • Visual Learners Grasping Concepts Through Technology and Tangible Supports!

    Thank you so much for your donations to my project! Because of you all, my students are learning concepts the way they know how- with hands on visuals. My students are able to use the projector to learn along on their physical copies of their work while it is being displayed on the board. This prevents me from having to run back and forth worrying if students are following along. At times, it gets difficult transferring information into their papers without seeing it on display.

    My students absolutely love the dictionaries as well. They are becoming more confident in their writing and challenging themselves with more difficult words to use. They enjoy looking up challenging words that increases the "eye catching" words that anyone looks for in writing. They are also becoming more independent when they are stuck on spelling words. They automatically run to the dictionaries in excitement!

My students are enthusiastic learners with amazing abilities and have many different sensory needs. We are a class of eight students, all eager to learn. We are currently located in a STEM school, and the goal is to have these students be included with their other peers as much as possible by learning to be comfortable with the environment around them.
