These particular LEGO sets will actively engage the students and activate the STEM part of my science class. It will give them a hands on experience in a lego simple machines learning lab. I see 42 4th grade students this year. But the numbers usually grow before September is up. This will impact future 3rh grade students as well. In doing this I’m hoping to open their eyes to the field of engineering, male and females. That this is something that all students can achieve. I feel through these types of activities my students will learn to love STEM and go into these fields in the future.
