Technology is becoming a way of life for children in today's society. Instead of shying away from technology and continuing to teach from the book, I want to be able to make math engaging and fun using a tool that my students love... technology.
This project, and using Amazon Fire tablets, will give these students an opportunity to learn through the use of technology. More importantly, I want to incorporate QR codes (quick response codes) in my classroom. With QR codes, students scan the code, and each individual code will bring them to a specific destination. I can upload an answer key to a specific code or even make the code direct them to a video which reinforces the content! It is a great way to engage these students in math!
