  • Snack Attack

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thanks for the supplies that were purchased for my students!

I can't begin to explain the looks on their faces and the noise that radiated throughout my classroom when I began to unwrapped the boxes. My students couldn't stop talking about the gifts that they had received.

Because of your generosity, every child in my class was able to focus more in class. Because of YOU, I am more optimistic about any future projects that I may post. Because of you, my students were able to focus in class until lunchtime !

    Much Appreciated,”

  • Treats for the Week!

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

Your kindness and generosity has been greatly appreciated!

The snacks that were donated, helped my students endure a long day of working. As a result of the hefty supply of chips, cookies, candy, etc., my students are more focused and willing to work for longer periods of time. Having a snack mid morning gives them the willingness to work without getting distracted because they are hungry. Your generosity has eased the pains of their hungry tummies and given them a better chance of completing assignments faster and more accurately.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. F

  • Distance Learning 2020 Part 2

    Funded Aug 4, 2020

The materials that were donated helped make our virtual learning environment a much better one, considering our circumstances. The large white board, poster pads, and markers made our math and reading lessons more enjoyable. I was able to use the materials to explain and solve word problems that my students could grasp. In addition, I was able to create stories that made writing easier to model and understand. Visuals, like anchor charts and story maps were created to assist with retaining skills and remembering stories.

When my students first saw the materials via zoom, they were very excited! Although I had participated in a couple of zoom in-services, I was still no expert. And, they new it. Having those materials meant that I could model lessons more frequently and making the more engaging. My students were hopeful that the year was going to be a very learning filled and memorable one!

I am not sure what our next steps are, but I know that they will benefit my students and make their learning experience an enjoyable one.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. F

To assist with making our learning environment more conducive to learning, I am requesting help with purchasing tables and chairs to replace the old worn furniture that is being occupied now. The furniture that exists now is rusted, broken, and in deplorable condition. With much emphasis bring placed on the curriculum and the purchase of books and supplemental programs and resources, furniture is not a priority. However, I know that being in a classroom with furniture that is ccomfortable and well-kept will make my learning environment more inviting. M students will be want to call me to school, to a place that feels more like HOME.
