Funded Apr 16, 2019I would like to thank you for your generous donation that will greatly impact our students.
Our students are excited and waiting patiently for their new equipment. They cannot wait to use the basketballs and volleyballs in their upcoming games. Thank you again for donating so generously to our school.”

Funded Mar 19, 2019Thank you for the headsets that you helped fund for my classroom. I am sure they will benefit my students immensely. My students cannot wait to use these headphones to complete online virtual labs, iReady Math and Ela tests. Without a doubt my students' focus and engagement will increase with these headphones. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your support.”

Funded Dec 25, 2018Your funding helped us buy books for our science class. Our books were about global warming, extreme weather events, climate change and coding. Even though our books just arrived last week we already started doing lessons incorporating coding into our science curriculum. The students needed to learn the relationship between producers, consumers and decomposers in the environment, and what better way to learn about this than to have them make a game about it? In the photos you can see our students create their own games. Students really showcased their creativity and keep asking to use more coding in our lessons.
Our next two units in science are on weather and extreme weather events. Tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts and wildfires are devastating events that unfortunately happening all around us and are affecting all of us. Students will be using these books to learn how the weather forms, find facts and explore images of extreme events. They will then write reports and showcase them in the classroom.
Finally, as a science teacher I feel a responsibility to teach our students how increasing global emissions of carbon dioxide lead to higher temperatures in the atmosphere. Students should be educated on current global issues and given the knowledge and opportunity to come up with their own creative solutions for the future.
Thank you for your contribution and support and for helping inspire our students.”

TZZt! My Kids Got Potential!
Funded Sep 14, 2018Your support has helped my students do hands on activities in our unit on Electricity. Students learned about electrical energy and how it can power our daily lives. They discovered the difference between series and parallel circuits, they used voltmeters, they used the different magnets and iron fillings to visualize magnetic fields.
Your funding also helped my class get seat cushions that allows them to wiggle and move around in their seat while working. We bought about 6 cushions but they were a big hit!! The students loved them and even though we didn't have enough for all the students they shared with each other, which was very endearing.
We are always trying to incorporate more materials in our science classroom. The more hands on the better is our motto. And we appreciate your support. Our next project is learning about the weather. Currently, we are trying to buy weather kits to allow our students to understand how clouds and tornadoes form, how to calculate air pressure, how acid rain affect growing plants.
Again we cannot thank you enough for making our class a memorable one for our students.”
