Students will do the majority of reading in the classroom but they will also have the opportunity to read ahead and complete the activities that will go along with the reading at home. Each book will be accompanied by a study/learning guide that will engage students to connect with the text. Students will also work in class together in cooperative groups to complete the assignments given in the study guides. We will end each of the novel studies by watching the movie that was made from the book and then comparing the book to the movie! This will be lots of fun!
