My supply closet helps my students not only in my class but in many others. While it may seem like a small purchase, some families may not be in a financial position to purchase some of these basics that we use on a daily basis. Colored pencils help my visual learners color code different vocabulary and the glue sticks allow for my tactile learners to attach different foldables into our interactive notebooks Most of my students are living below the poverty line and having access to new school supplies for their last year of Middle School will be great incentive to focus, put in the hard work and graduate to High School. Having a new notebook or pencil can make a huge difference in a student's confidence as well as peace of mind that they have access to notebook paper and binders should they need them.
