The materials I am asking for will ALL go to students. Each student will get their own expo pen that they will use on a daily basis. For example, practicing writing their name, spelling, math practice etc. There are many uses for expo pens in the classroom and they serve as a great tool for students to use in replacement of a pencil. In my classroom and school for Kindergarten we do centers and in order for the work to last, it has to be laminated. The laminating sheets will all be used for students centers that will be given throughout the year. My students are all very diverse and I want them to be able to find colors, and markers that they can use when making a drawing of themselves or of their family, or friends. The multicultural construction paper will also be used for projects that will be centered on the student. During my art time, my students will use the crayons, markers, and paint to create meaningful drawings and work that they will remember. In Kindergarten students are given time to independently explore activities and I plan on using the play dough to have student explore and use it for dramatic play in the kitchen area. I also plan on using the play dough for my centers. For example, having student create letter or numbers out of play dough. It forms a great tool to engage them and have fun while their learning. Overall they need a classroom and basic supplies to go with it. They will all use tissues throughout the day. At the end of the day, I plan on cleaning their desks and ridding them of bacteria and gunk that gets on it.
