• Make Our Music Room Shine!

  My students shined on stage during a holiday show using these light up drum sticks. The excitement it brought to them made me so happy and they were so proud to be performing on stage for their parents and peers. The light up sticks truly made the performance even more exciting for my students. Thank you for giving them this wonderful opportunity.

  Regular drum sticks worked perfectly fine for the practices, but seeing my students faces when they saw the new light up sticks was one of those teaching moments I'll never forget.”

• Books for Music Classroom

  Thank you so much for your generous donations towards the books for our music classroom library. My students love when we incorporate literacy and books during music class.

  Some of my students enjoy looking at the books and listening to the song that goes along with a story. Some of my students are able to sing and dance along. They enjoy looking at the pictures and reading through all our new books.

• Printer for Music Classroom

  We cannot thank you enough for your generous donations towards a new printer for our music classroom. Having access to a printer right in our classroom has really helped us during music class.

  Some of my students need pictures and symbols to communicate and this printer has allowed us quick and easy access to be able to print the materials they need to communicate.

  I also work with students who are learning to read music to play instruments. We work on composing music and are able to print it right in the moment during class. It has really helped my students on their music learning journey.”

• New Drums for Music Classroom!

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations towards our new music classroom drums. My students were so excited to see a new set of drums in our classroom!

  These drums exceeded my expectations and are a perfect size for my younger students. The drum sticks allow my students to create music with ease and provide a fun and exciting activity for my students during music class.

  These new drums are helping me teach my students how to keep a steady beat along to music and my students have truly enjoyed playing them everyday in music class! We are very grateful thank you so much!”

• Headphones for the Music Classroom

  Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations to our project. Our music classroom now has a wonderful new set of headphones for my students to use!

  I am fortunate enough to have several music keyboards for my students to use to create sound and music. Having headphones for each student and keyboard is so helpful and allows my students to sit at a keyboard and create music independently without hearing all the other students playing.

  The headphones are a wonderful addition to our music classroom and we are extremely grateful!”

• New Carpet for Music Classroom

  Funded Sep 29, 2022

  I cannot thank you enough for your kind and generous donations. Our music classroom now has a beautiful new carpet and my students love it!

  We are able to gather around the carpet and play instruments and dance. I like setting the chairs up in a semi-circle around the carpet and it gives my students a specific place to sit and to stand when participating in music class.

  The new carpet brightens up our room and creates a safe environment for my students who are dancing and moving around the music room!”

• Keyboard for Music Classroom

  This keyboard has truly transformed our music classroom. Playing and singing for my students has brought such joy to our music room. The students enjoy playing the piano as well exploring all the sounds it can make. When we first received the new keyboard, my students were thrilled and could not wait to make music with it. It has such a beautiful sound to it and even the other staff at our school came by to see and hear this new addition to our room. Thank you so so much for making this possible!!”

• Technology Support for the Music Classroom

  Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time. Our school year was more different than ever before. I was teaching in person, but due to COVID we often faced frequent school closures. Some days we would be in school and some days we would be forced to close to keep everyone safe.

  When we were in the building, the floor cushions were a huge hit in my classroom. Our class sizes were small and we were all socially distanced in the classroom. Having specific spots for my students to sit on around the room kept everyone safe and happy. The cushions were easy to clean and were extremely benefical to us this school year.

  The other various technology items (cables, chargers etc) helped keep us going. Technology is so important (now more than ever) and knowing we had what we needed whether music was in school or remote was a huge relief. Thank you again, we are grateful for the support.”

• Band Equipment for Our Music Classroom

  Funded Aug 28, 2018

  We are so overjoyed that our project was funded! Thank you so much for your support. We began this project to obtain materials that were necessary for our music students to continue making music together as a band.

  When we received the materials the students were so excited! Our brand new microphone really allowed the singers of our band to shine. New cables allowed our keyboards to be amplified and those keyboards are now held up on beautiful new keyboard stands. The drum pad is an excellent addition to our band.

  We are currently preparing for our holiday show and are working on several songs for the band to perform. The students are practicing so hard and are very excited to put on a music performance for their friends and families. The new equipment we received is truly helping us prepare for an excellent performance.”
