Young students feel more motivated and excited to read when they can see the cover of a book as they are browsing. The reading bookstand will be used to catch their attention and help them find the right book that they will enjoy. The beanbag chairs will be placed near the books to create an inviting and comfortable reading environment. Children enjoy reading more if they can be comfortable. The word building game will be used in a center activity in my classroom to build spelling and literacy skills in a fun and motivating way. The donations to this project will build effective readers for our future. By teaching them that reading can be interesting and providing them with exciting opportunities to explore, read, and enjoy literacy my students will learn to be better readers and enjoy reading. I grew up loving reading myself, but I was provided with lots of engaging opportunities to read and practice reading skills. With your help we can make that same environment a reality for all of my students this year!
