The rug will help engage my students and enhance their learning during calendar/morning meeting time. The rug gives a visual of the alphabet and numbers in a simple, colorful way to engage their interests. The flex-seating yoga ball style seats will aid in my students' independent/table work and learning times, by allowing them to easily, and silently fidget and/or move appropriately while learning. Having these items in our classroom would make such a huge difference to these children and their educational needs. Our special education classroom is quite different from the typical general education classrooms, which is why these items are so crucial to my students' needs.
