A Place for Everyone -Classroom Carpet!
Funded Aug 15, 2023Thank you so so much for your donations! Because of you my students at J. John Doran Elementary School have a new classroom rug! This rug is large enough to fit up to 30 students!
Students could hardly contain themselves when they first saw the rug! Many students commented on how soft the rug is and how colorful it is!! Many think it's so soft they enjoy petting it!
Thank you for giving my low income school a beautiful rug. I'm happy that my students have access to such great things because of people like you!”

I'm so happy to be able to give them access to the newest & coolest art materials because of your donations! Their engagement level during these lessons were through the roof!
If there was ever a doubt that the art room was a cool place, this project made sure of it! Thank you so very very much!”

Books and Art Supplies!
Funded Sep 11, 2021Students have loved being read the new books that were introduced into our classroom because of you! Literacy paired with art assignments are a great way to continue students learning of the english language while in the art classroom.
Students are introduced to multiple authors and illustrators that influence their artworks they create everyday! The books located on a bookshelf that students are also able to use when they have free time once finished their artmaking.
Having multiple authors and illustrators books helps to have something for every student to be interested in. The new pencil sharpener is also working great! We use pencils and colored pencils daily so we need to sharpen a ton! Thanks again for your donation to our classroom, the students and I truly appreciate it!”

Kwik Tempera Paint Stixs for My Art Classroom!
Funded Aug 27, 2021The students and I are LOVING the new paint stixs! When I first introduced them to them, they couldn't believe how bright and vibrant they were. Their artworks came alive with this fun new art material.
We have used them to create a couple winter themed artworks. They could not believe how cool it was that they were able to use the white paint stix on colored paper and it shows, they said it's magic!
The possibilities are endless with paint stixs that dry in 90 seconds! Normally artwork needs to dry overnight before students can take their artwork home. But with the use of these paint stixs, students are blown away with how fast they dry! They can even layer colors faster since the paint dries so fast!
We have so much fun to look forward to, thanks to you! Thank you for donating to our donors choose!”

Funded Aug 31, 2018If only I could have captured the faces of the students walking into my classroom today. It was truly heartwarming and so gratifying to see. The students now take pride in the classroom rug and want to take care of it as if it were there own! With 30 spots available there was room for every student. They were given rug spots that they will keep for the year, and in some classes we had extra room! Not only will we start every class on the rug but students may use lapdesks and clipboards on the rug when prompted for flexible seating. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and my students do too. This was a fantastic way to start the school year and it was all because of you...the donors!”
