Funded Mar 4, 2025Thank you so much, wow! We are so excited to get these learning materials for our classroom. They will make a huge difference in our classroom. Funded Dec 4, 2024Holy moly, it has been so fun to watch my students learn and play with the interactive globe! One of their favorite things to do now is to play the national anthem from different countries and march around the classroom in a line to the beat of the anthem. Every day during our literature break different students are using the pen to learn and explore different parts of our world.
Because so many of my students come from different countries and cultures, it's been really special to see them share their learning with each other when exploring the globe together. It really has brought my students together in a special way.
We have loved the books sets and my students have been reading and enjoying them immensely. Many of my students are enjoying the Haunted Library series and it's heartwarming to see them so engaged with quality literature. Thank you soooo much!”

Funded Sep 19, 2024Thank you so much for your generous support for our classroom. My students were thrilled when they first saw the huge digital clock in our class! It makes it so much easier for them to access the time and then connect that to our schedule and what is coming up next. It also makes signing out to use the restroom so much easier, as the sign out is located directly next to the clock.
My students also love the invisible ink pens as a prize from the treasure box. We do a weekly drawing in our class where students can put in their "Panda Paws" in hopes of winning a prize. This truly helps motivate students to work hard and learn more during every school day.
Thank you so much for making our classroom a special place to learn. Your donation truly makes a difference, thank you!”

See the World!
Funded Aug 12, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students absolutely love the maps you provided, and the Astronaut Space Star Projector has made our classroom a cozy, cool place to learn and read.
We take a break everyday where students can play games and have a snack. I love watching my students huddled over the interactive maps answering questions and saying, "I know where that is!" We have students from all over the world in my class (Mexico, Vietnam, China, Afghanistan, Micronesia, Ukraine to name a few) and they love showing their classmates where their families come from and places they've been. They wouldn't be able to do that without your support, thank you!”

Light Up Learning!
Funded May 20, 2024We recently had Open House where students and their families visited their classrooms. I got so many compliments on the mood and vibes of our classroom, and that is largely due to the amazing donations you have made to my classroom.
The globe lights just look cool and create calm lighting that is inviting. It's the the glaring overhead fluorescent lights that make you squint. It's just great because students want to be in our classroom. Also, the wireless light switches make it so easy to turn on and off, especially when watching a video on the projector.
We love the basketball hoop and it is a great incentive. Students love taking shots for prizes and it's just fun to have in here. Also, the rotating bookshelf makes it look like a cool book store in here. It's so great to see students looking at books and rotating the shelf around to see new literature.
Thank you so much, your support makes all the difference!”

Funded Jun 24, 2024There is a picture of several of my students playing Uno. That game has brought so much joy to my students, I love watching them play. They love when we have game time to play together and laugh and joke the whole time.
My students were thrilled when I pulled out the treasure chest and showed them the prizes. It got them so excited and motivated them to learn and behave well, which as a teacher is invaluable. It has been great to have legit prizes my students are excited to earn.
The recess equipment has been great, and every day my students are using them on the playground. There is a check out procedure for them and they have become a point of pride in the class to take care of the equipment.
Having these resources truly makes school fun. Thanks so much for your support and generous donation!”

Quality Literature and Creative Presentation!
Funded Sep 8, 2023There is little better as a teacher than watching your students peruse different books, choose one, sit down, and clearly begin reading and enjoying literature. My students are reading and enjoying the books you helped purchase for my classroom!
In my classroom I have big windows along one wall with a long shelf that allows us to display many of the books you provided. We have a jobs in our class, and one of them is being a "librarian". It's really cool because they have the book stands you provided to use to display the books. It's fun to watch them talk and discuss what books to display and how to display them around the class.
Many of my students enjoy the book series you helped provide. It's so neat to watch them finish one book and eagerly go and get the next one in the series that is displayed like candy in the class. Thanks for helping make ours a literature rich classroom!”

Lit Outta Bullying!
Funded Jun 8, 2023Your donation made an immediate impact on my class this year. We do SEL (social emotional learning) lessons, and we recently read "My Secret Bully". It was great because I put the kids in small groups of 2-3, and each group was able to follow along and see the pictures and interact with the text as I read the story.
We followed this up in the same fashion with reading "Confessions of a Former Bully" in small groups again. Then each group made a poster sharing a "tool" they learned from the story.
The lava lamp has been a great calming tool for my students to be around. Many of them are enjoying the Amulet series and are excited about the new book in the series coming out! Thank you so much for making my class a fun, engaging learning environment!”

Funded Nov 29, 2022It was so cool to see my student react with excitement and appreciate for the new rug. They were impressed with the quality and enjoy reading and working on it.
When we first moved the desks and got the rug put down, many of the kids took off their shoes because they did not want to get it dirty. They really took pride in it and let others who came in our room know to be careful as well.
Next up comes more bookshelves and quality furniture to provide more spaces for kids to learn. It has been an absolute joy to improve our classroom and bring in new supplies. My students and I can't thank you enough!”

Funded Oct 18, 2022Our classroom is a place students want to be in and spend time in! Thanks to your donation, my students are spending more time looking through the books we have in the classroom. The books are no longer on bookshelves I inherited from the former middle school teacher in the classroom in 2010, but now look sharp and appealing on the new bookshelves.
It was wonderful to hear the oooh's and aaah's from the students as I swapped out the old bookshelves for the new ones. They were excited and gratefully super careful and gentle with the rotating shelves and they viewed and handled our classroom books.
We have a jobs in our class and one of them is the librarians. Every day the librarians carefully shelve and face the books so they look like they would in a bookstore. It's just great to have the kids taking pride in their classroom and books because they can tell they are valued! Thank you so much for helping create such a vibrant, classy classroom learning environment!”
