Our students often have sensory integration challenges. The Easy Clean Comfy Couch from Lakeshore will be used by students when they need to calm down. In addition our students can practice social skills with a peer. Pre-K is where the educational journey begins, but the skills our students learn are life-long. We are looking forward to seeing the expression on our students' faces when they see a Pre-K sized couch built specifically for them. The couch will allow for more seating in our quiet spot for our students. The structure of the couch provides symbolic boundaries needed by our students.
