My students get very little Science and Social Studies prior to my class. There is occasional experiments, but nothing major. My plan is to give the students more hands on opportunities to learning science and social studies. Currently the supplies I have in my room are outdated and irrelevant to my current standards.
My students will be able to use these books and games to understand Science and Social Studies. Even though most of my students live on farms, their understanding of direction, rocks, and science in general is limited. They can tell you about life science concepts, but not very well. These resources will help them understand in a fun way.
