My goal is to allow students to merge counseling sessions with literacy, technology, and cooperative learning. It is important for students to be as engaged as possible in counseling sessions, and these devices would aid in that engagement. My goal is to utilize these for character education, mindfulness activities, and to show them how these devices can aid them in mental health. The Fire Tablets will allow me to utilize technology activities for the ​small group, individual, and crisis counseling sessions. These devices will be dedicated to students' mental health. There are applications for these Fire Tablets that allow students to watch educational videos, read books, and interactively engage in lessons. The cases provide durability, as well as allowing the devices to stand upright so that the students and I can easily see their screens. The memory cards allow me to expand the capability of what can be stored on the devices, which allows for more applications and content.
