    Thank you so much for your donation! The iPad made communicating with the students easier and much more efficient. Students were able to use Zoom through the iPad and work on it using Google Classroom last year. This year the iPad is a part of our classroom and is used for research and educational purposes. The pen also makes it more comfortable for writing on the tablet.

    The most exciting part for the students is being able to have the internet and all of its resources so accessible. The iPad is easy to grab and use.

    There are some students particularly my high achievers that love using new apps and the technology that comes from this iPad.”

These books will be used to reinforce the reading skill of the week. In addition to what is written in a textbook, I find that teaching reading through actual literature/books really makes a difference. These books will also be used during learning from home. I plan on reading the books with my students during class time remotely and using the text to build on reading foundations. For example, after teaching a unit on mythology, I will use the books as part of a small group activity where the students will read the books remotely and discuss the different elements that make that book a myth. Interesting books and stories can motivate a student to perform to their fullest potential. Reading is so crucial and having a variety of books can ensure that I shark the interest of multiple/all students.
