Let's Get Physical in Pre-K!!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you so much for donating these much needed materials to our PreK Center. The children are thoroughly enjoying the equipment. What is great about this equipment is that it is very versatile. The children use it in their classrooms, the indoor gymnasium as well as outdoor play. It is portable and even the children can participate in set up and clean up.
It is very critical to our center that we have learning centers where the children can explore. These materials provide multiple opportunities for them to show off their throwing, catching, and sorting skills. They also challenge their listening skills. Even though the equipment is to enhance their physical development, it is increasing their cognitive abilities as well.
The children just adore and love the equipment. They take wonderful pride in knowing that these were a gift.
We will have the equipment for many years to come. Thank you so much for your thoughtful and amazing contribution to our PreK Center.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Sacks For Our Seats
Funded Dec 1, 2012"Thank so so much for your generosity. I can't wait to go into school on Monday and tell the children that people like you exist in this world. They will no longer have to keep their book bags on the back of their chairs. They will have beautiful seat sacks to hold their reading books and notebooks.
It has been such a struggle to maintain 30 children getting up and down and going back and forth to bookshelves to obtain their supplies for each subject. With these seat sacks, they will just have to reach behind them now and get whatever they need. Thank you so much again for your dedication to education. These sacks will go a long way.”

Art in Action!
Funded Jul 1, 2011Thank you so much for donating to my project. The kids are going to be so overwhelmed with joy when I add these beautiful art supplies to my art center. Right now, my art center is so vacant. But now, due to your generous donation, I will be able to fill it with scissors, multicultural crayons and paper. I have been teaching 14 years and I have never had anywhere to store my art projects while they dry. Now, I will be able to place them inside the beautiful storage centers that were part of this project. I am so excited and I know my kids will be too.”

Our Laptops Need a Home
Funded Mar 9, 2011Thank you so so much for giving our laptops a home. Before the table entered our classroom, our laptops, that we also acquired from Donors Choose, would just randomly be carried to my student's desks so students can work. Now they have this beautiful computer center, where the laptops are displayed. The children long to be picked each day to go on the Internet so they could just sit in our brand new chairs at our brand new computer station. Your donation is truly appreciated by all of us. Thank you again for your generosity. Our laptops have a home because of you.”

Technology at Our Fingertips!!
Funded Dec 20, 2010Thank you so much for your generous donation. It really meant a lot for us to receive such a wonderful gift before the holiday season. The kids were thrilled beyond belief. Now we have two desktops and two laptops side by side in our classroom. Your donation impacted our classroom in such a great way. Instead of having 2 students on the computer working, we can have 4 students working collaboratively. We are getting so much more work completed. The kids are having a great time researching the web. They get such a kick out that the mouse pad is directly on the computer and they don't have to manipulate a mouse on a mousepad.
Thank you again for your generosity. We really really appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Give a Child a Book and See What Can Happen!
Funded Nov 1, 2010I just want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. This donation gave books to children who are just in love with reading. From the first box opened to the last box unpacked, my students watch me with wide eyes, hungry for each new book. I just enjoy watching them select books they have never been exposed to. This library you all have donated to my classroom is print rich and beautifully illustrated. My students now have books to fill their own personal bookbags. What I enjoy most is to see them get lost in their new books. They even ask if it's okay if they bring them home to show their parents. These books have given my children the desire, stamina, and passion for reading that every teacher dreams of.”
