All of our students want to learn keyboarding, but we do not have the instruments to do so. I started teaching them basics last year, but every student would take turns or play in pairs on the one electric keyboard in the classroom, which took up too much instructional and practice time. Many students watch tutorials of their favorite songs and would like to play them on the piano; the funding of this project will allow them to do so. With these new mini keyboards, students will be able to learn chords to their favorite songs, as well as accompany the vocal ensemble for collaborative performances. This project will benefit a large part of our learning community and bring such joy to their lives.
