Although all students, K-3, will have an opportunity to access the 3D Printer and 3D printing filament, students in third grade will have the experience of using the complete Design Process to create an item on the 3D printer. Students will then engage in the voting process to determine which items should continue to be printed and will be immersed in social studies standards in economics to market and sell these items. Once this project is complete, students will have the chance to go through the process again to ensure retention of skills and exciting experiences. Again, no other elementary school in the district is able to provide this experience which makes our Title I school unique in our district in Northeast Ohio.
