• Time For Kids Magazine

  Thank you for bringing the world to our doorsteps. These children are enjoying learning about life outside of the Bronx. Time For Kids is the perfect way to introduce them to timely news in a way that they can digest and understand.

  My youngsters love looking at the vibrant photos. They learn so much by examining and discussing the pictures. Being able to read and understand the topic builds up their confidence.

  When we are done reading the magazines in class, students enjoy taking them home and discussing what they learned with their families.

• Grumbling Tummies, Need Something Yummy!

  Thank you so much for these items. I wish you could've heard the squeals of delight the children let out, when they saw their sweet and delicious treats. Random acts of kindness is what this world needs, more than ever. May kindness be returned to you, in the same way that it was given!

  I so appreciate the time and effort that you took to reach out and care for someone less fortunate than yourself. These students have suffered so much in their short lives. Although the world has moved on from the COVID epidemic...this community has not. These families are still suffering emotionally, financially and educationally.

  It is so satisfying to know that I can teach my little ones, knowing that they won't be distracted by rumbling tummies from hunger.”

  The parents of these children often work 2 to 3 jobs just to make ends meet. Some of them, are in school themselves. Many of them, do not speak English.

  These students live in an area that's riddle with poverty and crime. School is often their only place for security. So, when one of them is out of school because they are ill; they are often not getting a meal.

• Let's Get It Write!

  Thank you so much, Mr. Price for your care and consideration towards these deserving young scholars! These past few years have hit our community hard. And children always suffer the most during difficult times.

  These note books are a bright spot for them because they have witness so much and have stories to tell. Even my students, who are still learning how to string letters together to form words. Enjoy drawing a picture and speaking their stories into existence.

  These journals are like therapy for my young learners. They now get to express, how they are feeling in a safe and comfortable space. You'll never know how your generosity impacted so many little hearts. May kindness be returned to you in the same way that it was given. • It's a Simple Ask, We N Need Masks!!!

  Thank you so much for your generosity! Our school has been hit hard by this new COVID-19 variant, Omicron. Both staff and students are sick and testing positive at alarming rates.

  Research has shown that students between the ages of 5-11 are the population getting hit and hospitalized the hardest during this latest surge. My little first graders being 6 years old fall right in the middle of that range.

  The masks that you gifted my class, plays a huge part in keeping them safe and healthy! It is a wonderful feeling to be able to provide a clean mask to a child whenever they need it. Your donation is a life saver in every sense of the word and I thank you!”
