My students haven't had the opportunity to play instruments of quality in some time. Many of our percussion instruments are in disrepair, and fixing them would require almost the same investment as replacing them. The Wind Chimes would provide students with an immediate opportunity to play an instrument that is functioning properly, that produces a beautiful quality of sound. My clarinet and saxophone players have not had access to the caliber of reed necessary to obtain the quality sound their instruments can produce. These reeds will provide students an opportunity to learn their maintenance and care, as well as the opportunity to create a beautiful sound out of their horns.
