My students learn better through hands on learning. Having many different tools and items for students to learn through play allows them to grow socially and emotionally. They can practice functional (daily) skills that will help them develop and that will be used in their lives. Social and emotional growth are important for students to learn in my classroom. I have a play kitchen that helps the students learn home skills. I will use the blocks to teach students about working together. Having these items will help my students learn and grow.
