  • Middle School Upgrade

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

    These supplies have helped keep our middle school classroom organized and less cluttered. The shelving units have been used to organize the new coloring supplies in our supply space.

    The students were so excited to help put together the shelves and help organize our classroom. They have used the new coloring supplies to complete work that represents them The art teacher even borrowed some to use for an identity project she was doing for our school.

  • Ears on Learning

    Thank you so much for providing my students with personal headphones! Students love these headphones because they are comfortable to wear. They aren't complaining of their ears hurting or their hair getting caught from inexpensive headphones we have used in the past. The headphones have helped when students are working on their individual online learning paths and foreign language class. The classroom environment is more productive and less distracting. We are hopeful that they will last us a long time!”

  • Reading Nook of Dreams

    Thank you for your generous donations. The students have really enjoyed their Reading Nook of Dreams. They love to both read and work on assignments in the nook. It is a space that we use frequently. The space is comfy and functional, several students are able to work in it at one time and it offers an organized space for books. The benches serve multiple purposes as seating spaces, laptop tables, and bookshelves. The rug added a fun detail to our nook.

    The students were overjoyed when they first saw the new supplies, they eagerly offered their assistance in assembling the parts. The students expressed that they felt very fortunate to have someone out there that cares about their education.

    The students are now using the space to brainstorm and share their favorite book quotes on the Reading Graffiti Wall. This feature will encourage the students to be prideful of their reading. It will also remind them constantly of their connections with different books.”

With these books they will have the best of the best to learn and love. We will have a "Reading Graffiti Wall" that the students will fill with inspirational quotes from their favorite books. This will help them dive deeper into the reading and find meaning and importance to connect with. It will make a great discussion piece with each other and visitors.
