A color printer would be a huge asset to my classroom! If I had a color printer for my students I would be able to print their schedules, behavior charts, task analysis, adapted books, adapted assignments, and visual cues in color! My students not only love to see things in color, but some of my students have visual impairments and it is necessary for their work to be in color! The printer I chose comes with a 2 year supply of ink and prints over 6,000 pages in black and 5,000 pages in color. When it is time to replace the ink it is reasonably priced and will cost a small amount for another 2 years. It also prints double sided, which will save on buying paper. I have also chosen a charging doc and chargers. Through the years my chargers have been worn out and are not longer charging. The doc and chargers would provide me with new chargers as well as a safe place to charge my tablets. These tablets are used everyday, all day long, as communication devices for nonverbal students, independent work, and reinforcement for completed work.
