My project is to raise enough money to help provide each and every student in my classroom with a copy of Where the Red Fern Grows. Children such as ours often do not have access to school supplies and novels that can benefit their academic careers. This is a great opportunity to help with my Title I school. Another benefit of having a class set of Where the Red Fern Grows, is that I can make a powerful connection with my students early in the year which is invaluable for a student/teacher relationship.
