This year, our school is implementing the wonderful ideas of active participation in the reading realm. We will be documenting our extended responses via acting out our responses and recording them on video. The Digital Daily Diary is allowing students to engage in reading and be individuals that give ample creativity for each student to have their own comfortable designated space. This configuration also makes discussions with partners a shoulder's turn away. The Digital Daily Diary is also a wonderful form of expression to allow other students to be encouraged to read, all the while having fun and becoming life long readers. My primary goal is to create an atmosphere in the classroom in which my students are reading in a relaxed environment that promotes good reading habits and a path towards becoming "life-long" readers.
