My students will learn and develop skills that will help them to be a successful individual by learning to interact positively and effectively. Students will learn to have empathy for others and ensuring respect and understanding.
My students need these skills to be successful in life to be a mature and responsible student and adult. Students learn through the process of playing the game learning life skills.
By playing a game, students may be able to understand a new concept or idea, take on a different perspective, or experiment with different options or variables.
For example, Monopoly, known as the classic game of real estate and trade, is virtually a must-have for a social skills classroom. Monopoly is known for teaching students about math and finances. Monopoly is also an incredible and powerful way to teach life responsibilities. Chess is known as the king of board games, strategically planning. These games are life learning and relationship building.
