My students come with a variety of challenges and this Headphone sound system will be used as a way to neutralize sensory challenges caused by noise and also aid kids who tend to distract easily. It is a way for students to decompress, to think about wiser choices, or to just breathe for a minute. Music is a useful tool in helping students who get overly stimulated in a classroom setting. We have a designated sensory calming room that students can utilize to decompress, and calm down then be ready to return to class and fully participate in the learning experience.
