    I am so excited to know that such wonderful people stepped up to help my students . I can't thank each of you enough for your kindness and generosity. The basic school supplies, such as pencils, notebooks, and folders, will make such a difference for my students. My English Language Learners have overcome so much coming here and their enthusiasm to learn makes me complete. Watching students learn English as their second language is one of the greatest joys of my job. Planning and implementing differentiated and rigorous lessons to our English Language Learners has been a challenge who rely heavily on additional resources to support their learning. I heavily rely on an reading and writing online program where I have to print the literature and lessons. Without the necessary materials, I cannot be an effective teacher. The cost of ink and necessary classroom supplies is a lot for teachers to cover with the small amount of funding that we receive. This will limit the resources we can provide for our students and force us to minimize the amount of material we can differentiate. This will be especially detrimental to our English Language Learners who rely heavily on additional resources to support their learning. In addition to the necessary supplies, having a carpet will allow my students to have a gathering area for each implemented lesson. A carpet will serve as an inviting gathering are for the students. It will foster necessary student partnerships, turn and talk and whole class discussions.
