  • Technology Access

    Funded Nov 22, 2019

With heartfelt gratitude I thank each and every one you and your sacrifice. This means so much to the students with special needs and those who learn best through technology. Your donation is not lost and benefits all students involved. As an educator, I am encouraged to continue the work to improve the education process for our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Craven

  • Magical Learning

    Funded Dec 6, 2018

I cannot thank you enough for your donations. The students were so excited when they saw what was coming from the boxes. The alphabet and sight word workbooks make learning so much more exciting for my younger students with special needs. The English Language Development activity cards allows my students to identify sight words, recognize sounds, and use correct parts of speech.

My students fell in love with the floor puzzles. The floor alphabet puzzle is a hit in my classroom and my students love working together or alone and playing train. The 1-100 train floor puzzle is also a hit! The students are learning numbers past 20 and 30 more readily with this product. It seems to calm the students and they see it as a toy rather than a learning tool.

I see my students using these learning tools and activities for daily instruction and learning. All of these tools will help with daily instruction tremendously! I am truly grateful for your donations and my students are grateful. They may not be able to vocalize it but they show it with their actions. Again thank you and may God Bless you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Craven

Students who may not learn conventionally or cannot perform paper and pencil tasks easily sometimes have issues with confidence and frustration. These activities hopefully will calm some of those issues. I hope to engage students' learning and promote independent learning using various centers. The Dot answering system helps students with issues of fine motor skills participate alongside their peers with paper and pencil tasks with confidence. I feel the counting and sequence puzzles promotes students to think logically and critically and with peer to peer guidance. These activities will also promote social engagement that is beneficial to students with autism.
