The table will allow for me to actually sit in front of the students to monitor and guide them with their reading instead of leaning over them. In addition to that, as the different reading groups are coming in, they will have a nice place to sit and read, if, I had the carpet to put down in order to make the space exciting and inviting. It is important that the students have an environment that is equipped with what they need in order to be successful readers. Having the table and carpet will aid in creating that environment. Creating such an environment will help in getting the student excited about reading!

About my class
