I am a new math teaching who aspires to inspire students to appreciate math for all its beauty and applications. Students will use post-its and chart paper to collaborate and comment on projects. Paper will be used to differentiate student material. Construction tools will be used for my 10th Grade geometry class. I need supplies that make collaboration happen as well as basic supplies as many of my students' families are not in the financial position to provide them. Research says that students will retain more when they write and create. Much of the materials that I need will be used to give students a canvas to voice their ideas and practice their math.
